True, eye color does change from childhood to adulthood, but usually in the other order: from blue (as a child) to brown (or whatever).

I definitely think this is a slip-up. Many people's eyes change color due to the color outfit that they are wearing. And it is true about the changing of eye color from childhood to adulthood. My eyes used to be dark blue, now they are grey.

Actually, my eyes change not only with the outfit I'm wearing, but literally every couple seconds to two minutes. I'm the only person I've met that has these unusual color changing eyes, but I have heard of other people that have it too. Not that I'm saying Ms. Starling has color changing eyes, it's just a comment.
