Watch the Christmas episode when they are staying at the Catskills Ski Lodge. In almost every outdoor scene the place is littered with pine trees. But later on when Fry wants a christmas tree, the professor tells him that pine trees have been extinct for 800 years. Either I misheard or he needs new glasses.
Does the words "Trees down!" and "Trees up!" ring a bell? Thats right, the pine trees on the slopes are not real trees. Otherwise they wouldn't be voice activated now would they?
If you remember when they ski the "pine" trees, they duck out of the way, proving that they probably aren't really trees, but probably just there for atmosphere
Think how old Farnsworth is. He may be a scientist but he has been shown to have a bad memory on other occasions. It could be that occasionally bad memory of his again
well chyno, i remember watching an episode of Jimmy Neutron, where they go camping. the holographic butler could carry drinks and jimmy gave an explanation how it was possible.that's probably why
I noticed that too, but realized that those could be different kind of trees. it's possible that the name of the tree was changed or the history logs were mis-entered.
