Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves - Camera Track by the Greenwood Tree?
Go to the part after Robin fights Little John. When they're zooming into the tree, look in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Is that just a metal stick or camera track? What do you think?
The trees that you referred to as Greenwood are in fact "Beeches". The filming took place in a forest called Burnham Beeches just outside London and not in Sherwood forest as some presume.
And yes, I think those must be camera tracks....
Not all of the Sherwood scenes were filmed in Burnham Beeches. I'm preety certain that at least some of the scenes in the river are from a place in Wales, where I went a while back. I don't actually know the name of the place, but when I was there they were filming a man in a suit under a waterfall (not Robin Hood related, but if NE1 sees an advert etc with the afore mentioned man in ti I'd be interested!
