Weirdos from Another Planet - Disappearing Ink
In the Calvin and Hobbes collection entitled "Weirdos from Another Planet", wait for the Rosalyn series where Calvin doesn't let her in, then tries to mail himself in a cardboard box to Australia. He writes it as TO OS TRYLA. However, in the 3rd panel, it changes to TO OSTRIA, because of there not being a line on the bottem of the L. And then, in the final panel, there is no writing at all! Calvin and his mom are still talking from the same sides of the box. Hmm, just plain weird.

Oh come on, you mean to tell me you've never made a mistake in your writing before? Give this guy a break. That's a poor slip-up.

I think part of the pure fun of Calvin and Hobbes is that Bill Watterson didn't obsess about things like that. I enjoy the inconsistencies.
