Actually, it's not quite big enough to be able to eat Oola in one "session" (for want of a better word) because she just wouldn't physically fit in the Rancor's stomach.

Contrary to popular belief, Oola did NOT die in the Rancor pit. If the Rancor had eaten her, it would not try to eat Luke or that other guy, because it wouldn't be hungry anymore.
