If you watch the American Express commercial with the so called "perfect pump," watch Jerry put in his credit card. You will notice it has the American Express logo on both sides.
I think that was done on purpose just to keep pushing the phrase "American Express" into your head.

Usually "Pay-At-The-Pump" transactions require swiping the card BEFORE pumping. Jerry Seinfeld obviously goes to swipe his card after the "classic over-squeeze". Yet, Jerry probably never has to pump his own gas anyway.
