Right near the end of the video the band members are dressed as bad guys and take off their masks to reveal the real band underneath, watch closely (freeze frame is very good) as pat smear (guitar) unzips his costume, you can see someone elses hands holding his guitar for him
It is supposed to look that way! Personally, that is one of my favorite parts of the video, when all of the band members reveal their true identities and whip off the costumes.
