When the girl goes into the video store to rob it, if you look to the shelf behind her, closest to the door you can see several Pokemon video tapes. Keep in mind that this movie takes place in 1986, and Pokemon didn't come out in the U.S. until the late 90's.
Also in this same movie, when Dana Plato is visiting her sick mother (or at some other time when she's at the hospital) her son is playing with a Game Boy, even though the time frame was supposed to be in the early 80's...
According to the Unofficial Rug-rats Online web site, there are also a Rug-rats videotape in the store. The movie scene takes place in 1991, but the first Rug-rats tape didn't come in sale until 1993.
