When God, Alanis, goes into the street and sees all of the dead people laying there, including Loki, she turns to look at the church. On her left, Loki is laying dead, but his right foot moves before you see the street clear.
yeah, i watched that part the other day, and thought it was pretty funny. good eye, its hard to see, but if u just keep watching his foot b4 it leaves the shot, u'll see it move at the last second. I was impressed that you were right. Thought that would be a big slip up and hard to not miss! good job!

Yeah...and the leg of the guy who was squashed in The Rock was moving too...that happens to dead people.

If you watch the Special Edition verison that was just released, the Directors commentary (of which there are two different tracks) discuss ALL blooper mentioned here as well as on the view askew web-site. There are answers for most, many of which are editing errors.

This is not a mistake. Loki was not yet dead, because if he was dead the world would have ceased to exist. Loki had already passed through the archway, as was pointed out by Bartelby, and if he had in fact actually died, before God had set everything right, the world would cease to exist.

I could have sworn that when Serendipity asks Loki if he's passed through the arches, Bartleby yells "No" from up above.

Loki had his wings cut of, but he hadn't passed through the archway, and didn't pass through it at all in the film. Bethany and the others arrive at the church as Bartleby is rampaging, and Loki is sitting down drinking a bottle of champagne. They talk to him, then someone asks him if he's been through the arch yet, to which Bartleby (who's flying around dropping people) yells "No". So none of them had passed through the arch, and didn't get the chance to either.

no one ever passed through the arch, and Loki is not dead... not enought time passed for the stab wound to be fatal
