Near the begining of the movie - Will Smith jumps off the Grand Central Station Bridge. He runs down the street and ends up Near the Guggenheim.

Grand Central is far away from the Guggenheim. Also the "brigde is on the opposite side of grand central not on the Central Park side of GC. Therefore he would have needed to run around Gcentral or down other streets (Like Lexington Ave)
