Seems the creators couldn't get Hank's much-touted high-school trip to the state finals correct. In a previous episode, Hank said he was born in 1953 ... this would have made him and his team buddies (Dale, Bill and Boomhauer) seniors in 1971 or '72. Yet, in previous episodes the trip is said to have occurred in 1974 (perhaps the guys all flunked-out a couple of grades). Then in Season 6, Episode 7, Dale indicates the trip to state finals occurred in 1979. Seems the creators just weren't keeping track of time frames!
