In "The Man from Tallahassee", Anthony Cooper pushes Locke out of an 8 story building. When Locke hits the ground, there is clearly no one else there, and there is most definitely no pathway below the building by where he lands.
But in "The Incident" (showing Locke's fall from a different angle), it is revealed that Locke survived the fall because Jacob touched him. When Locke hits the ground, there are many people around him, and there IS a pathway, and two women walk out of it.
