on an episode of the Andy Griffith Show.
A criminal writes Andy a letter saying he'd like to see him. The criminal is someone Andy had to shoot at a gas station holdup(another slipup Andy is the sheriff without a gun) the criminal is wounded in the leg, and now has a limp. He's out of jail and so Barney is sure he's coming to shoot andy. After when Andy is at home, they're just finishing dinner, when the phone rings, and it's the criminal saying he's coming over. So to be safe he tells Aunt Bea to take opie and leave. All the food and dishes are left on the table. The next scene Andy is sitting on the couch and the table behind him is cleaned off with a tablecloth and a centerpiece. I know Andy didn't do it, there wasn't enough time even if he wanted to.
