When the SPECTER craft captures the Russian space capsule, it returns to crater landing port. Then No. 1 orders the removal of the astronauts. As the SPECTER craft opens, you can clearly see the nose of the Russian craft and the 3 armed retrieval hook being lowered to grab it. Watch closely as the hook touches the capsule the scene switches and a metalic ring now appears and it is attatched to the capsule and that is what the hooks grab. Wasn't there a second ago.
