At 1:01 in on my version of the DVD. During the scene with Justin in the torture room, the crossbow being used is never actually fired. We know this because it's never re-cocked in between shots. Immediately after the first shot is supposedly fired it is seen being lowered and the string is still in the pulled back/cocked position. It stays in this position throughout the scene.
