In the ending, Pamela Landry is quickly and efficiently faxing all the reports as incriminating evidence -- presumably to "the authorities."

Two potential problems...

1) She's faxing the docs FACE UP. Many fax machines require feeding in the docs face down.

2) She's only been faxing for about 2-mins when the bad guy comes in + interrupts her. Most modern fax machines SCAN all the docs, stores them in memory, THEN dials the number, then starts the actual faxing process. *OR* even if the actual faxing had begun, it would only have been in process for about 2-mins or so.

In either case, the bad guy would know this: Most of the faxing would be totally prevented by merely unplugging the machine!
