Stand, The (Stephen King) - Have We Met Before Mr Redman?
quite early im the story Fran and Harold meet Stu Redman for the first time.Stu says 2hi2 but doesn't introduce himself.for some reason Fran calls him Mr Redman several times ,without having been introduced.
