Ok here's the slipup

In the starting of the movie the kids realize that they left the money with the dead babysitter so they have no money for groceries here's why it's a slipup the next day or two

Kenny and suellen take the kids to chuck e chesse

How can this be of they couldn't afford groceries how can they afford to go to chuck e chesse?

Suellen did get a Job but she doesn't get paid till later in the movie.
