1932's "Island of Lost Souls" was the first version of H.G. Wells' "Island of Dr. Moreau" and is still of the most potent horror movies ever lensed. During the climactic assault of the rebelling beast-men on Moreau, you can see on of the actors in "manimal" makeup accidentally set the head of one of his costars on fire with his torch...and then try to beat it out!
