In part 2 of the second episode of the 1966 "Batman" TV show, the Dynamic Duo have caught Penguin and his gang in the latter's hideout. Batman explains how he and Robin discovered the homing transmitter in the trick umbrella, when Penguin used the very words Batman spoke in the Batcave.

Trouble is, Penguin didn't! Batman's words were "It's a vicious, well-laid scheme." Penguin said "So, this is the end of my vicious, well-laid PLAN!"
