In the episode "Malcolm Dates a Family", in the scene where the girl asks Malcolm to the dance, and he and Stevie are talking and Malcolm mentions that he has a problem. It seems he has two dates, and remarks that every tv show has covered that situation. Malcolm then says something like, "Urkel did the identical cousin thing..." or something like that. Steve Urkel didn't have an identical cousin on Family Matters. Yes, Jaleel White did play cousin Mertyle Urkel but she was a girl, and Stefan Urquelle, but he was a modified version of Steve, not his cousin. Plus, Steve Urkel never the had two dates dilema. I guess Malcolm doesn't know everything after all.
