Ash & Henry's men are being lead into the castle while in chains. As the approach the castle (exterior shot with castle in the background) Ash & the line of captives have 2 seperate chains attached to the yokes. It can be seen that the horseman pulling them has ahold of these 2 seperate chains. It can again be seen as 2 seperate chains when Ash first enters the castle & looks around in shock/awe.

However, when Sheila grabs him by the hair, shakes him, & spits in his face, it can clearly be seen that the chains on Ash's right & left come together about 2-3 feet in front of him & only a single chain from that point goes forward to the horseman.
