English Country Garden song lyrics - There Are What in the Garden?
In most versions of "English Country Garden", the second verse (about insects) mentions "spiders climbing in the trees" (or "falling from the trees" depending on version). Spiders are arachnids, not insects.
Even more mind-boggling, the songbirds mentioned in the third verse include "tanager and cardinal". These are both North American species which don't exist in the wild anywhere in Europe.
