In the season two episode My Diner With Theo, when Denise takes Theo up into her dorm room, notice that there is a large blue fan hanging on the wall. The fan makes another appearance in the next season episodes, in the background of Dwayne and Ron's apartment. In the season four episode Everything Must Change, Dwayne returns from his summer intership with Konishiwa, and gives Whitley what seems to be that exact fan as a souvenir gift from Japan. Maybe it was a hand me down?
