X-Men Origins: Wolverine - Changing Claw Shape
I have to say that I did like the fact that the movie portrayed Wolverine as having bone claws before the adamantium bonding process, rather than saying the claws were added as part of that. But here's the problem with it. The bone claws as shown in the movie are rounded, complete with 2-3 "knobs" along the shaft. They are stabbing-only weapons. After the adamantium bonding, they inexplicably change their basic shape into a blade and can be used as a slashing weapon. All the bonding process was supposed to do is coat Wolverine's bones with the adamantium, so there's no way it could have modified the basic shape & function of his claws!
