At the end of the movie, the plane crashed into the Washington Monument - after its landed in the Potomac River at the Monument Bridge, the Washington Monument is wonderfully intact in the background.

And another thing, same time in the movie. The pilot gets out of the plane, meets his family on the bank right next to the site where he just dropped his plane but it has gone!!! about three seconds later it is back, more magic perhaps?
