After crashing on the asteroid, A.J. walks outside surveying the wreckage while debris is strewn out burning on the ground. This is wrong, as oxygen is needed to make something burn, and there is no oxygen on the asteroid.
There was oxygen on the shuttle, in both gaseous/breathable form and liquid (for fuel). It is possible & not improbable that this oxygen was being released/leaking at a rate fast enough to fuel the fire but not so fast as to become explosive.
