I recall when John Stapes first entered the screen, he was then having an affair with Rosie Webster who at the time was 16, I remember John saying there was a big age gap as he was 29. Last night on NZ TV, (we are behind here), John was convicted and sentenced to two years in prison. Kirk read out the article in the newspaper that said that John was 29. Rosie is now 18 as she just recently celebrated her 18th birthday. My question is more that if Rosie is now 18, two years older than when she had the affair, if my memory is correct in that the age of John back then was 29, why is he still 29???
