There's an active valvoline commercial campaign suggesting the theme..."Sometimes...probably doesn't cut it..."
The particular slip-up commercial, displays a scene of a police lineup being viewed by a victim facing the mirror and a police officer standing next to him. The victim asks the police officer..."Are you sure this is a two-way mirror?" and the officer responds..."probably" and then one of the suspects looks directly at the victim and waves hello at him.
The slip-up on the commercial is that the victim should really have said..."Are you sure this is a ONE-WAY mirror?".
It's really stupid for a marketing company to make such a small but stupid mistake.
