Near the end of Warren Fahy's novel "Fragment," on page 353, as a B-2 Spirit is preparing to drop a nuclear warhead on Hender's Island, the author states that the B-2 is moving past Mach 2 at an altitude of 1,200 feet.

This is not even close to possible. A B-2 Spirit's maximum speed, at its fastest, is around Mach 0.95, or 604 miles per hour.

Mach 2 is about 1,522 miles per hour at an altitude of 1,200 feet.
