In the very beginning of the movie, the Queen solves the whole mystery with the slipper, stating it was glass. Throughout the whole movie, we are being told that it is glass (subliminally, when Leonardo sets it down next to Henry after their argument, the raindrops fall on the slipper making that tinkling noise you would hear when droplets hit glass). Yet, at the end of the movie, when Henry's proposing (as he's saying "Perhaps you would be so kind as to help me find the owner of this rather remarkable shoe"), the moment he takes the slipper out, you can CLEARLY see that the slipper is flattened, as if it were made more of a cloth/velvet-y type of material. This has been bothering me for years. Has anyone else noticed this??? You can take a look for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHsA_lVrrDc
