When Mrs Hogget is measuring Babes belly in preparation for the Christmas dinner, you'll notice that all four of Babes feet are covered in mud at least 3 to 4 inches high up his leg. Then when he goes over to talk to Ma, you can see his right rear leg, foot and all, and it is clean as a whistle. Then Babe walks over to the gate and all four feet are muddy again.
