Miley clearly tells the whole world that Jackson knows Miley. In the episode in which Hannah and Jackson date, Jackson's picture is in the newspaper as Hannah's boyfriend. Also, he doesn't wear a disguise and doesn't change his name, so he is still Jackson Stuart, and he is famous as Hannah Montana's boyfriend!

Another time when Jackson is made famous is in the episode in which Miley has a dream in which Lilly and Jackson kiss. Miley's planning to add Jackson as one of Hannah's posse in the Mack and Mickey show. She's not making him wear any disguoise or change his name

The Slip-Up is this: Jackson's shown so much on TV as being Hannah's friend. Wouldn't everyone in Seaview High start to ask Jackson if he really knows her, and ask him for her autograph, or be friends with him just so they can get to see her? If you knew someone who knew a popstar, wouldn't you ask him to get an autograph?
