In one scene Peter Sellers and his fellow convicts are sending a messenger pigeon to their confederates on the outside.

The bird, which Sellerrs says will walk to its destination, is clearly completely black when it leaves sellers hands and when it arrives at its destination.

However in one shot as the pigeon walks across a busy street, it is clearly a different bird with a white tail and white head.
