At the beginning of Episode 9, when the men are listening to the German violin players in Thalem, the screen gives the date of April 11, 1945. Then it flashes back one month. After the flashback, when it returns to Thalem, near the end, CPT Nixon tells the men (again on April 11) that Hitler is dead, having committed suicide. Main problem: Hitler killed himself on April 30.
