This is unbelievable! There is a major flaw in the pilot episode scene where the electrical/digital stuff in Mulder's rental car goes haywire when the UFO flies overhead. Everything battery-powered seems to be affected. After Mulder comes around, he gets excited about having lost 9 minutes by his digital, battery-powered watch. It stands to reason that the watch would not continue to measure time accurately. Because Mulder is a very intelligent, detail-oriented person, this flaw does him a great disservice. I want to love the X-Files, but this is hard to ignore!
