In the episode where Rupert gets stolen, there's a scene where Peter and Meg are beating mail boxes. First, he is in the front seat but, in the next scene when they go over the ramp, he's in the back seat !
I'm pretty sure they are two different moments, they are just grouping the time Peter and Meg had their bonding time (being that Peter and Meg usually don't have father/daughter bonding time until Peter lost his license), meaning it could of been later in the day, could of even been the next day, so Peter would have time to switch between the front seat and back seat
And if I remember right, Peter bashed mailboxes at night and had Meg jump the ramp during the day, it had to be two different days, no slip up here
