It's pretty common knowledge that the walls of the Sistine Chapel are filled with tapestries. The lowest portions of the side walls were covered with a series of tapestries depicting events from the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. However in the movie as they pan down from the ceiling to floor, the side walls have no tapestries on them. They are painted. Those tapestries haven't been removed since they were placed there in 1519! So, does that mean the entire scene is computer generated and they were never really there?
