Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi - Popping a Balloon
In the skirmish between the imperial and rebel fleet. A couple of fighters destroy a shield generator and another destroys the bridge in a kamikaze attack on the super star destroyer (SSD).
Notice when the SSD flows into the deathstar. First of all, a SSD is a huge ship, several kilometers long. So one would expect it to do serious damage, even on the death star. You would also expect the ship to be somewhat slowed down, even though it carries a lot of momentum. But lastly of all, you would expect a explotion outwards from the entire ship and on some of the sourrounding death star.
Instead it looks like the SSD is pinching a hole the the death star helium ballon. Especially look a little while after the SSD has hit the death star. Then you will see fire flowing outwards from the DS, much looking like a leaking gasline on fire.
