In the scene where Cage's character is sitting in traffic on the freeway and notices the coordinates on his satnav match some of the numbers, you can see a silver Hyundai sitting behind Cages SUV on the far right of the screen. The license plate is clearly not an American rego plate but rather a Victorian one from Australia (identifiable by the upside down blue triangle in the middle of the plate).
