After Tom Hanks character talks with Meg Ryan at the Coffee shop where she's supposedly waiting for her "online friend." She emails him about how hurt she is. He reads the email, and can't think of anything to write back, so he signs off and you hear a "goodbye." He paces around a bit and comes back and his screen saver is up, he touches the keyboard and replies to her message, when clearly he'd have to reconnect to AOL.
