Knight Rider (new series) - K.A.R.R. Knows Mike Knight
about 3/4 of the way when Mike and K.I.T.T are battling K.A.R.R. . K.A.R.R. refers to Mike as Michael Night, (K.A.R.R.'s original driver). K.A.R.R. was deactivated before Mike was told he was Related to Michael Knight, therefore K.A.R.R. couldn't have known Mike's last name was Knight.
Just a couple of thoughts... Michael Knight (not Night) was K.I.T.T.'s original driver, NOT K.A.R.R.'s... Secondly, Mike's last name, I believe, is NOT Knight... much like Michael's last name was not, technically, Knight. It was actually Long. But I digress...
2 things you forgot to notice with this, 1: his name was originally mike tracer and KARR would have been told that he changed his name to knight and 2: mike's memory was erased using that green liquid that was shown in episode 1 (like universal soldier) so he wouldn't of remembered.
To clear things up, There were 2 K.I.T.T.s and 2 K.A.R.R.s. one of each from each of the 2 different series. The first K.I.T.T. (Knight 2000) and K.A.R.R. were both Trans-ams. The First K.I.T.T. was driven by Michael Knight, and the first K.A.R.R. had no official driver. In the new series Mike Knight (Michael Knights son) drove K.I.T.T. (Knight 3000) and also drove K.A.R.R. before having his memory erased. I noted that Mike didn't know he was related to Michael Knight (original series) until the second car was shut down. (and later restarted)
