When the captain comes to pay a visit, Ann Francis is swimming. The captain says He wishes he would have brought his bathing suit with him, then Ann says " What's a bathing suit?" So obviously she's swimming naked. but just before she steps out of the pool, you can see she's wearing a full piece skin tone bathing suit with a kind of a skirt around the hips like the kind they wore in the 40's.
