Towards the end of the movie Abel Turner (Samuel Jackson) is shot by another police officer after he shoots Chris Mattson (Patrick Wilson). The rescue personell runs toward Chris and recues him saving his life. Abel is left lying in the road. No matter how bad Abel was, police and rescue personell always try to save someone after shooting them. This man was supposed to be a decorated police officer but yet they shot him and left him for dead and never even attempted to provide any type of medical assistence to him. Even in low budget westerns the good guy would still walk over to the bad guy and close his eyelids for him. The movie continues on without even covering up the deceased or even moving him out of the street. That, in real life, would never happen to a police officer, bad or not!
