In the movie a security guard is hired as a night watchman to secure a burned out department store. The building had burned severly in the past and people died in the fire. Towards the end of the movie some pipes crack open again leaking gas (I suppose) and the building erupts in fire once again. The fire causes the fire sprinklers to go off and water starts shooting out of them. In reality had a building burned the utilities (water, gas, and electric),would have been turned off. (The movie clearly showed that no electricity was in the building.) Be that as it may, even if we were to believe that the gas was somehow still turned on, the sprinkler heads would have already been blown from the first fire. This is clearly a blooper.
