In the Doris Day Movie, The Thrill of It All, Doris is doing commercials for a soap. The company has a swimming pool put in for her.
Then they place boxes of the soap powder all around the pool. When her husband comes home he drives the car into the pool because he doesn't know it's there. In his anger with her and he kicks the boxes of soap in the pool. With a bad rain storm it becomes a ton of suds. The maid before she opens the door, expects the suds because she bends her head down and pushes right through. I would think she could have opened the door and just walked into them as a person would if there were real soap suds at your door. It's very obvious she expected it.
Also the rainstorm is a torrential downpour water flooding all around. Yet in the morning the trees grass street is completely dry.
