In the beginning of the episode, Angela and Brennan are at the cemetery honoring the one year anniversary of laying Brennan's mom to rest. Angela leaves Temperance with flowers. As Temperance is standing back up after placing the flowers on the headstone, the camera shows Max Keenan walking towards Temperance. He says "Hi Emily". He called the actress by her real name, not by her character's name.
