After Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner meet on the road, they are chased by bad guys to a canyon. The only way across this chasm is to swing on a rope. The top of the rope should be fixed to something like a tree. But when each one of them swings the whole rope moves across the top of the screen, just like it's attached to a crane that hurls them over the canyon.
