After Manny is killed by the Viet Cong, the platoon enters a village. Taylor finds a Viet guy hiding and he gets really upset. Taylor starts shooting at the man's feet to make him "dance". We hear the sound of his M-16 rifle firing and a few clumps of dirt fly up. But there are no shiny, empty brass shells being ejected from his rifle, meaning Taylor is just playing bang, bang.
