After attacking the Manassas Junction bridge, Custer is shot in the right shoulder. A huge hole appears in his uniform, but he shows no pain or discomfort. We see him next in the hospital where he proceeds to use his right hand to shake a general's hand (twice) and then he grabs his sword with his right hand and leaves the hospital in a hospital gown.
